*************************************** * FLIGHT TRAINING AUDITION TEXT v.1.4 * *************************************** Tips: * Make sure you’re familiar with the text before recording your final version. * Read the text out loud several times to get the flow of the words. * Try practising and clear your mind of distractions. * Don’t rush – take time and keep a steady pace. * Make sure your voice is loud enough to be heard and speak clearly. Articulate the words. * Pause when you need to: one second for a full stop, and half a second for a comma. * Be yourself, confident and enthusiastic about the subject Text to record: (choose text A or B) Text A: ---------- “So, let’s take a look into more details at the essentials parts of an aeroplane. As you can see here, flashing in blue, we have the elevators. These control the pitch of the aircraft. When you pull on the joystick, the elevators move downwards and send the flow of air to the ground, allowing the aircraft’s nose to rise. Pushing on the joystick will move the elevators upwards sending the air flow upwards and the nose of the aircraft down.” Text B: ---------- “When you’re ready, go to www.bvair.com. Select login and enter your details. Once you’re in your personal page, click on “Find a flight”. This page displays all available flights for that day. For example, if a pilot has already taken flight BVA100 from London to Paris, this flight will not be shown on this list and you cannot fly it. Similarly, if you take flight BVA101 from Paris to London, the flight will then disappear off the list as it becomes yours to fly.” Please email your .MP3 file to mail@bvair.com with “Flight Training Voice Audition” as the subject by November 1st 2007. Good luck!
